TN184: Growing your business the meaningful way, the Go-Giver way! – With Bob Burg

Building a strong network can be a valuable asset to your business. However, networking is often looked at a way to “get” the right contacts that will “bring” you business. Today, I invite you to shift your perception of networking to “giving” and to building meaningful relationships that can grow your business for the long term.

This is the subject of “The Go-Giver” – one of the best books I have read. It has been a huge influence on my own business journey.

I am very honored to have Bob Burg, the author of this book as my guest on this week’s episode. Bob shares his insights on how “giving” the right way will make you a successful entrepreneur.

“Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment”

Bob is the author of a number of books on sales, marketing and influence, with total book sales of well over a million copies. He is also a much sought-after speaker at sales and leadership conferences. His book, The Go-Giver, coauthored with John David Mann, itself has sold over 950,000 copies and it has been translated into 28 languages.

Through his work and passion he shows how companies both large and small that conduct their businesses “The Go-Giver Way” are not only of much greater value to their customers; they are also significantly more functional, and profitable, as well.
